Sales Channel Dashboard Builder for Restaurants
The owner asked this:«I sell in the dining room, by WhatsApp and on two apps. Apps are 40% of sales and I have no idea whether they leave me anything after commission.»
① Block A · the x-ray, same columns for everyone
Sorted by profit per order, which decides, and not by sales, which deceives.
| Channel | Sales/mo | Effective commission | Packaging | Errors | Net profit | Per order | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dining room | 22.0 M | — | — | 0.1 M | 6.1 M | 8,900 | The one holding the house |
| Own WhatsApp | 4.8 M | — | 0.4 M | 0.1 M | 1.4 M | 7,200 | TO FATTEN: delivery's best margin |
| App A | 9.6 M | 2.6 M (27%) | 0.8 M | 0.4 M | 0.7 M | 1,500 | Holds, barely |
| App B | 5.2 M | 1.5 M (29%) | 0.5 M | 0.3 M | −0.1 M | −400 | LOSES MONEY: every order funds the platform |
Allocation criterion, written down: packaging goes to the channel that consumes it; dispatch labor cost is split by number of orders, not by sales — splitting it by sales hands the dining room a cost it does not generate.
The reading: 40% of sales produces 7% of profit. App B sells 5.2 M a month to leave a loss: the volume was vanity.
② Block B · dependency and the conversion play
Dependency on rented ground: 41% of sales.
SUPUESTO: the alarm threshold is set at 35% because that is the point where this house could no longer absorb a commission rise without touching price — the owner agreed it on 25 August; it does not come from a sector average. If the agreed threshold were 45%, this board would come out amber instead of red, and the fortnight's decision would change channel.
| Piece | Where it goes | Cost per order | Commission it saves | Counter that measures it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flyer in the bag | In every app bag | 180 | 2,400 on App A | WhatsApp orders citing the app |
| Sticker with the WhatsApp number | Cup and lid | 90 | 2,400 on App A | Same counter, read every 15 days |
| First direct order discount | Only to the converted | 3,900 once | 2,400 per order, forever | Pays for itself on the second order |
Conversion costs less than half the commission from the second order onward. That is the only reason it belongs on the board.
