Storytelling Hook Generator for Restaurants
The owner asked this:«Sazón de Origen, contemporary Colombian cooking in Medellín: 2 sites, 6 years, 24 people, 48,000 COP average check. We started in 2020 as a neighbourhood fonda and the second site opened in 2024. I post on Instagram and WhatsApp; I sell dine-in, own delivery and one platform. Every time I tell the restaurant's story I end up with the same video: the grandmother, the love of cooking, the recipe we always used. I want story hooks that start inside a scene and end with full tables on Sunday at midday.»
① The scene map for Sazón de Origen
| Scene | Subject | Visible action | Hour | Dish it lands on | Part of the promise it proves |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The fonda's stove is still lit | Marcela, cook since 2020 | Turns the knob on the stove brought from the old fonda | Tuesday, 6:20 a.m. | House platter | That the cooking here is home cooking, on the same fire |
| The pot moved by taxi | The two morning-shift cooks | Load the 40-litre pot into a taxi boot | A Monday in 2024, 5:00 a.m. | Three-meat sancocho | That the new site cooks with the same pot, not a copy |
| Sunday's sancocho runs out | Don Álvaro, waiter since year one | Wipes the sancocho off the board with his hand | Sunday, 1:10 p.m. | Three-meat sancocho | That it is cooked by the pot and it ends, like at home |
| The trout arrives before the team | Norberto, the Thursday supplier | Unloads crates against a door still shut | Thursday, 6:40 a.m. | Garlic trout | That the product comes in fresh every week |
How this map was read. The four scenes sit on the three dishes holding the sales mix. A lovely scene about a low-rotation dessert would have entertained without filling Sunday, which is the daypart the owner wants to move. Two candidates fell: «it all began with the family's love of cooking» —no subject, no action, no hour— and «6 years serving with passion», which is plaque language, not a scene. Hours and weights are illustrative; swap them for the real ones before shooting.

The three start differently on purpose: one from the object, one from the event, one from the person. Three openings cut to the same shape read like a template, and the template shows before the story does.
