Role Profile Test Builder for Restaurants
You pick the role and the assistant writes your house's profile test: the conditions stated up front, the shift cases with their points and the profile it is measured against. You get an interactive file with a test index, questions that rotate with every candidate and a report with a green, amber or red light.
N5Complete system
Several chained pieces you install and operate over time, with their review cadence. It changes how the business runs, not one decision.

What it does and what you get
- Restaurants hire in a hurry and on charm, and the mistake is paid twice: recruiting whoever leaves and training whoever arrives.
- This assistant writes a profile test per role that takes 12 minutes and orders the decision before the final interview.
- It measures eight work behaviours against the profile you set for the role, with real cases from your shift —your dishes, your till, your pass— that weigh almost as much as the questionnaire, and forced-choice pairs that cut down «looking good».
- Every candidate gets a different form, so passing answers around is useless.
- The report says green, amber or red with its reasons, the professional style for onboarding, whether the answers are credible, where the person fits best in your house and the exact questions for the structured interview. It is not a psychological exam and it does not hire on its own: it guides.
What you end up with
The chosen role's profile test, ready to run in the kit's interactive file (it opens without internet): 2 to 4 role conditions with the non-negotiables marked, the profile with weight, minimum and ideal per behaviour and one to three critical ones, 5 to 7 shift cases from your house with their ways out and points, and interview questions of its own per critical behaviour. The table per role with what changed from the base profile and why, your house's JSON or TESTS_DE_PERFIL file, and how to use it in five lines. When applied, every candidate gets a different form and the infographic report builds itself: traffic light with reasons, fit ring, radar against the role range, bars per behaviour, professional style, answer validity, where they fit best, structured interview questions, a 30-day plan and signatures.
Sample result
The owner asked this: «I hire about twenty-five servers and ten cooks a year across both sites and half of them leave before three months. I interview on gut feeling and get it wrong. I want a test per role that tells me whether the person fits before the final interview, and it can't be the same for everyone because they pass it around on WhatsApp.»
| Fictitious candidate | Role | Light | Fit | Why | Style | Where they fit best |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Laura Gómez | Server | GREEN | 94 % | Critical in range, conditions accepted, high validity | Ally | Barista 93 %, host 92 % |
| Andrés Rincón | Line cook | AMBER | 85 % | Detail 59 below its minimum of 65 (critical); early mornings «with reservations» | Guardian | Cleaning 84 % |
| Julián Pérez | Cashier | RED | 70 % | Refuses closing (non-negotiable); integrity 52 against a minimum of 75; low validity | Host | Host 89 %, server 88 % |
The cashier's red is not a «no» to the person: the same report says he fits on the floor. Each report carries a radar against the role range, bars with minimum and ideal, answer validity, 5 or 6 structured interview questions and the 30-day plan.
Illustrative example generated with a fictional restaurant. Not a promise of results, not a client case.
This is 1 of 5 parts. Behind the wall are the whole battery and how it is run. The seven tests role by role —their critical behaviours, non-negotiable conditions, shift cases and what changed from the base profile and why—, each case with its ways out and the points each one scores. Use in the house: where the file opens, who runs it, that the candidate answers on the assessor's device and only the assessor opens the report, what to do with each colour and how the result is kept with the CV without leaving anything online. And the verdict: with 35 hires a year and half leaving before ninety days, who it pays to apply it to —everyone past the first filter or only finalists—, how to calibrate it first with two people who do the role well today, and the quarterly review that says whether greens last longer than ambers.

How to use it
Which of your data it uses
This assistant works with 15 of the 24 fields in «My Restaurant», among them Restaurant name, Business type and Cuisine or concept. It does not ask out of curiosity: these are what make the answer speak about YOUR scale instead of an industry average — the same calculation on a business of another size returns a number you cannot decide with. You fill them once and they apply across the library, so the second assistant you open already starts with them in place. Whatever you leave blank, the assistant asks for one thing at a time instead of inventing it, and says so before answering, so you know what it is working from.
Always up to date
Every assistant carries a visible version and date. When an AI changes how it works, the assistant's version goes up and you see what changed.
v1.0.02026-09-28Born at Diego's request (2026-09-28): an onboarding test for new staff that helps owners and managers tell, through profile questions, whether a person fits the role, with a highly infographic report, a green, amber or red recommendation, rotating questions and an index holding every role's test. A declared exception to the closed catalogue of 14-Sep, like MPV-1135. It ships with the Role Profile Test kit (motor/test_perfil.py, datos/test_perfil.json): eight behaviours, fifteen role profiles, a rotating bilingual bank, a traffic light with reasons and the Sazón de Origen example with seven roles and three reports.Included in the always-growing library
