Short, complete answers, based on the game's material.
What is the MASTERESTAURANT restaurant service training game?
It is the Interactive Restaurant Service Training KIT: a physical experiential learning tool, with a board, four decks, help cards and tokens, so servers and service teams practice the 7 key service variables by playing.
It was created by Diego F. Parra, creator of the MASTERESTAURANT® methodology, and Gustavo E. Quiroz U., MSc, a specialist in innovation, coaching and learning experience design. It combines the principles of experiential learning, game design and talent management in a tangible tool. It serves restaurants, hotels, cafés and food businesses that want more motivated, better-performing teams and a stronger service culture, and it includes a specialized virtual training session. The game material is in Spanish.
How do you play the service training KIT?
Each player takes the role of a server and attends customers with different levels of difficulty; they face real service mistakes and apply the strategies of the training deck, while points reflect the quality of service.
The 7 key service variables guide the decisions of every move. During the game, players attend different types of customers, face common mistakes and apply recovery and hospitality strategies, so learning stops being theory and becomes practice: communication, hospitality and suggestive selling develop while the team has fun learning. The game can be played as a group or individually, in a practical, fun and competitive way.
What's included in the service training KIT?
A flexible game board, a customer deck, a mistakes deck, a training deck, a service variables deck, help cards, scoring tokens and a specialized virtual training session.
Every element is designed to reinforce the 7 key service variables. The customer deck brings profiles with different levels of difficulty to the table; the mistakes deck brings common service failures; the training deck gives the strategies to fix them, and the service variables deck guides every decision. Help cards and scoring tokens complete the game, and the virtual session supports the team in using it.
How much does the service training KIT cost?
The Essential KIT costs USD 397. The Battle Duo Pack, with two KITs, costs USD 637, and the Battle Trio Pack, with three, USD 877. International shipping is charged separately.
All KITs come in the essential box. You pay by credit or debit card with each option's PayU link, or by PayPal typing the amount you chose, and then send your order and shipping details on WhatsApp or to info@masterestaurant.com. Who is this customer service game for?
For service teams, servers, hosts, bartenders, supervisors, service leaders and restaurant managers who want to strengthen hospitality, improve customer service and increase sales.
It is also for owners, managers and leaders who want to turn traditional training into a dynamic, practical and measurable experience, and for hotels, cafés and food businesses that want a stronger service culture. No technical knowledge or previous hospitality experience is needed: reading and writing, a service attitude and the will to learn by playing are enough, so anyone on the team can take part from the first game.
