Niche Hook Adapter for Restaurants
Nothing is invented here: it is translated. An existing hook comes in —yours, another restaurant's, or one from a trade with nothing to do with food— and out comes the version that speaks to this house and to no one else, after four layers and the swap test.
N5Complete system
Several chained pieces you install and operate over time, with their review cadence. It changes how the business runs, not one decision.

What it does and what you get
- An owner sees a hook that blew up, swaps two words and ends up with a video that is correct for a restaurant that is not his.
- This piece handles that exact moment: it does not mass-produce hooks from zero like the house engine, and it does not stop at explaining why someone else's worked like the structure analyst.
- It takes the hook already on your table and rewrites it in your kitchen's vocabulary, with a reference your city recognises, built on the reason your guests come and published in the daypart they come.
- Plus the test almost nobody runs: if the new version fits the place next door just as well, no adaptation happened.
What you end up with
The translation sheet per hook, with the original and the house version facing each other row by row —opening, promise, turn second, action and close—; the four-layer matrix with what enters, what is dropped and the swap test result; and the shoot plan with the dish being pushed, the daypart, who films, the commercial action and the 7-day metric, plus the do-not-copy checklist.

The owner asked this: «We are Sazón de Origen, contemporary Colombian cooking in Medellín: 2 locations, 6 years, 24 people, a 48,000 COP average check and a menu between 28,000 and 72,000 COP. We sell in the dining room, our own delivery and one platform, and we post on Instagram and WhatsApp. I saved two hooks that are not mine: one from a barbershop in Buenos Aires that blew up, another from a grill house in Bogotá. I shot them almost identically and both sounded like another restaurant. I want them translated to fill Tuesday-to-Thursday lunch and Sunday midday.»
| Row | ORIGINAL (barbershop · Instagram · owner-reported 480,000 views) | SAZÓN DE ORIGEN VERSION |
|---|---|---|
| Opening (seconds 0 to 3) | «Eleven years cutting hair and I still charge half price for the first cut.» | «Six years making sancocho and I still taste it myself before the first Sunday plate leaves.» |
| Promise | I'll tell you why losing money on the first client pays off | I'll tell you why the broth gets tasted at 10:40 a.m. and not once the queue is out the door |
| Turn second | 6 | 5 |
| Action | Book a slot by direct message | Book a Sunday table on WhatsApp |
| Close | «You pay full price for the second cut.» | «If you liked it, the same broth sits under the house Bandeja on Tuesday.» |
Verdict: ADAPTED. What travelled is the skeleton of a confessed craft —years on the job plus the gesture nobody sees— and not one word of the original survived.
Hook 2 (grill house, Bogotá): DISCARDED. It opened by comparing prices against the competition. It does not fit: the goal is lifting operating margin from 8% to 14% in 12 months without touching menu prices, and a price hook pushes the other way. Illustrative figures.
| Layer | What the original said | What enters this house | What is dropped, and why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vocabulary | «cut», «slot», Argentine second person | «taste the broth», «the 10:40 a.m. pot», «table» | The porteño voice: read in Medellín it sounds like mimicry, not warmth |
| Local reference | The barbershop's own block | The Sunday midday queue, which a Medellín neighbour already knows | Another city's reference, which needs explaining and burns 4 seconds |
| Reason | A guest hunting for price | Neighbourhood families coming for a family celebration, and professionals aged 30 to 45 at weekday lunch | Discount as an argument: it is not why people come here |
| Daypart | Saturday afternoon | Sunday midday; the echo runs Tuesday to Friday, 12:00 to 14:30 | The evening service, where this house does not compete |
Swap test. «Sazón de Origen» was replaced with the grill house on the corner and the hook collapsed: that restaurant has no six years of sancocho and no Sunday pot. It passes. Before the translation, with the text nearly traced, the same hook held up under any name — that was the tell that it belonged to nobody.
Illustrative example generated with a fictional restaurant. Not a promise of results, not a client case.
This is 2 of 3 parts. Behind the wall sits the **shoot plan**: the dish chosen by contribution margin, the daypart with its posting time, who films, the commercial action on a single channel, the 7-day metric with baseline and target, the production cost ceiling measured against the average check, and the do-not-copy checklist.

How to use it
Which of your data it uses
This assistant works with 13 of the 23 fields in «My Restaurant», among them Restaurant name, Business type and Cuisine or concept. It does not ask out of curiosity: these are what make the answer speak about YOUR scale instead of an industry average — the same calculation on a business of another size returns a number you cannot decide with. You fill them once and they apply across the library, so the second assistant you open already starts with them in place. Whatever you leave blank, the assistant asks for one thing at a time instead of inventing it, and says so before answering, so you know what it is working from.
Always up to date
Every assistant carries a visible version and date. When an AI changes how it works, the assistant's version goes up and you see what changed.
v1.0.02026-08-20Initial version. Born from the gap between the two c13 siblings: the engine mass-produces hooks from zero and the analyst explains why someone else's worked, but neither served the owner who already has the hook saved and copies it with two words changed. This one brings the four layers —vocabulary, local reference, reason and daypart— and, above all, the swap test: put the name of the place next door on it and, if the hook still holds, it was a word swap and not a translation. Diego pushed for the borrowed-niche trap, the one that wastes the most shoots: views from another crowd are not your guests.Same method, another variant
Inside the app this is a single control: you press it and the assistant reframes itself, including the variants that don't appear here because they don't have their own page yet.
