Offer Hook Generator for Restaurants
This is the only hook in the family that shows the price in the first line, which makes it the only one that can be wrong in the till and not just in reach. It produces the margin table that decides which dish can take the discount, the hooks born from it, and the retirement date written before anything gets published.
N5Complete system
Several chained pieces you install and operate over time, with their review cadence. It changes how the business runs, not one decision.

What it does and what you get
- Putting up a discount is easy, which is why almost everyone gets it wrong.
- The owner fills Tuesday with a markdown off the top of his head, celebrates the full room, and at month end finds he sold more and earned less: an offer that fills the room and sinks the contribution margin is a failure wearing the face of a win.
- This one gives you the opposite: the table stating dish by dish how much discount it can take before hitting the floor, the offer placed on the dish that has margin rather than the one already selling itself, the limit written so the promotion does not turn into the new price, and the date it gets retired if the number never moved.
What you end up with
The margin table with menu price, cost, contribution margin, maximum discount and an in-or-out verdict per dish; the offer matrix with the opening figure, the reason, the daypart, the channel, the limit and the 14-day metric; and one hook card per offer with the 3 seconds of the opening, the first-frame image, the fine print and the retirement checklist stating the date the repeat decision gets made.

The owner asked this: «Sazón de Origen, contemporary Colombian cooking in Medellín: 2 locations, 6 years, 24 people. Average check 48.000 COP, menu between 28.000 and 72.000 COP, food cost 34%. Tuesday lunch is the weak day inside my strong daypart: from 1:00 p. m. onwards tables sit empty. I sell dine-in, own delivery and one platform; I post on Instagram and WhatsApp. I already ran discounts off the top of my head, filled Tuesday twice, and the month closed worse. I want offer hooks that do not eat my margin.»
| Dish | Menu price | Dish cost | Contribution margin | Max discount | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| House platter | 42.000 COP | 14.700 COP (35%) | 27.300 COP | 6.000 COP | In: takes the discount and holds the sales mix |
| Three-meat sancocho | 38.000 COP | 11.800 COP (31%) | 26.200 COP | 7.500 COP | In: best margin on the menu |
| Garlic trout | 52.000 COP | 22.400 COP (43%) | 29.600 COP | 2.000 COP | Out: food cost leaves no room |
| House dessert | 12.000 COP | 3.400 COP (28%) | 8.600 COP | 12.000 COP | In as a companion only, never as the main offer |
How this table was read. The temptation was to offer the garlic trout, the highest-priced dish and the one that sounds best on video; the cost column ruled it out in two seconds, because 2.000 COP of discount is not enough to write a hook with. The house dessert goes in given away rather than marked down: 3.400 COP of cost buys the feeling of an offer without touching the main dish's margin. Illustrative figures; replace them with the house's real costing before publishing.
| Offer | Opening figure | Reason | Daypart | Channel | Limit | 14-day metric |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sancocho with house dessert | «On Tuesday the sancocho is 38.000 and dessert is on us» | Tuesday lunch, the weakest slot of the strong week | Tuesday 12:00 to 14:30 | Dine-in | 40 portions per location | Tuesday covers: 52 today, target 74 |
| Platter for two, own delivery | «Two platters, 78.000, delivery on us» | Own delivery pays no platform fee | Tuesday and Wednesday, 19:00 to 20:00 | Own delivery | Ordered before 20:00 | Own-delivery comandas: target +25% |
| Sunday table held | «Book before Saturday and we hold your 12:30 table» | Sunday fills up and people are lost at the door | Sunday midday | 12 tables per location | Bookings written before Saturday: target 30 | |
| Garlic trout at 30% off | — | — | — | — | — | Dropped in the margin table |
The concession worth writing down. Tuesday with sancocho and dessert closes the table at roughly 46.500 COP with a drink, that is 1.500 COP below the house average check. It gets approved anyway, and the reason is written down: these are covers that do not exist today in that slot, not covers being made cheaper. The rule changes on the delivery platform, where the fee takes its cut before anyone else: there the same figure would have left the table brushing break-even, which is why the platter-for-two offer went out on own delivery only.
Illustrative example generated with a fictional restaurant. Not a promise of results, not a client case.
This is 2 of 3 parts. Behind the wall sit **the hook cards and the retirement checklist**: the 3 seconds of the opening written word for word, the first-frame image, the fine print said out loud, the margin floor in pesos per plate served, and the table that at 14 days compares the real metric against the target and decides whether the offer repeats, gets adjusted, or is filed with its date.

How to use it
Which of your data it uses
This assistant works with 15 of the 23 fields in «My Restaurant», among them Restaurant name, Business type and City and country. It does not ask out of curiosity: these are what make the answer speak about YOUR scale instead of an industry average — the same calculation on a business of another size returns a number you cannot decide with. You fill them once and they apply across the library, so the second assistant you open already starts with them in place. Whatever you leave blank, the assistant asks for one thing at a time instead of inventing it, and says so before answering, so you know what it is working from.
Always up to date
Every assistant carries a visible version and date. When an AI changes how it works, the assistant's version goes up and you see what changed.
v1.0.02026-08-20Initial version. Born beside the curiosity hook and the problem-and-solution hook, with a difference that is not stylistic: those two can miss on reach, this one can miss on cash. Diego asked for it with a line that ended up in the method —«an offer that fills the room and sinks the margin is a failure wearing the face of a win»— which is why the margin table comes FIRST and rules the copy: not one line of promotion gets written until you know how much discount the dish can take. The retirement date is in for the same reason, because a promotion nobody took down stops being an offer and becomes the house price.Same method, another variant
Inside the app this is a single control: you press it and the assistant reframes itself, including the variants that don't appear here because they don't have their own page yet.
